Notice each room separately
Check which windows receive direct sun and which are shaded by neighbouring towers. If you work from home, pay particular attention to the room where you would sit through the afternoon.
Look for glare as well as light. A room that photographs beautifully at one hour may need blinds for the hours you use it most.
Ask about comfort and costs
Ask about blinds, window coatings and recent cooling bills. Air conditioning can help with temperature, but it does not tell you whether a room will feel comfortable for your routine.
There is no universally best orientation. The right pattern of light depends on how and when you use each room.
